Granular material mixes solid grain well, has large area for heat transfer in gas or solid phase and other advantages if dried in original convection fluidized bed, but it also has many shortcomings, example, granular material must be even and has certain specification or it will form channel flow or viscous motion; if granularity is distributed widely, it will be serious in entrainment. If humidity is heavy, it is easy to agglomerate; as it is back mixing, moist content may be uneven; these reasons limit the application scope of convection fluidized bed.

In order to overcome the shortcomings of convection fluidized bed, foreign countries have done great research on the improvement of fluidized bed, especially in the period when energy resource is intense, energy resource is saved thorough strengthening the process of heat transfer, therefore, fluidized bed has broad application and reasonable economy in the aspect of drying granular material. Cooperating with relative scientific research institutes, our factory developed vibration fluidized-bed drying machine by referring to foreign products. This machine is reliable and advanced in technology, broad in application scope, remarkable in the effect of saving energy, and can dry the material difficult to be dried on other equipments, so it is widely applied in chemical industry, light industry, medicine, foodstuff, plastic and salt-making, etc..
